Drip Drip Drip. Drip. Drip.

The blood ran freely, pooling along the floor, congealing in small puddles.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Ellithia choked back the bile that rose in her throat, and stepped lightly over the bodies. The room was filled with the stench of death. Men, women, children. Who could tell any more. They were all poor souls in her eyes. Victims of a gruesome war that none had asked to join.

She murmured words of prayer over and over, the hushed whispers bouncing off of the walls back to her, echoing strangely in her ears. She moved from body to body and closed their eyes one at a time, pressed her fingers to their foreheads and put their soul

Calling Spirits silently calling.
Talking.
Whispering through the night.

I strain to hear,
But can make out nothing,
Except the wind.
And still the spirits talk.

They talk without mouths,
Without words,
But still talk,
Still call.

Once I tried to answer,
But they ran away,
So in sorrow,
I sit,
And I listen.

Spirits silently calling.
Talking.
Whispering through the night.

I love the bundle, probably one of the best I've seen in the short bit that I've been doing this, so I just had to get it, hehe. Autumn should be next!
